Ottawa – A 39 year old Home Depot employee was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery Friday afternoon after a customer’s Shih Tzu bit off the end of her nose.
The Gloucester Home Depot employee was working at the front door when a woman came in with the small dog.
As she greeted the woman the dog sprang out of the cart and sank its teeth into her nose. She was rushed to local hospital where she received several stitches to repair the wound.
The attack has Home Depot considering changing it’s current policy which allows customers to bring their dogs into the store with them while shopping.
