eLearning Public Health Outreach Module: Influenza Vaccine / Flu Shot Awareness

An interactive multimedia prototype developed to raise awareness and educate the general public to the importance of the flu shot. The module also aims to address public concerns and commonly held myths about receiving their annual flu shot. It contains information obtained from several leading health institutions including Mount Sinai as well as several interactive exercises, multimedia elements, YouTube videos and some scenario based training. The module also contains a formative assessment and list of additional resources.

This project was created using Articulate Storyline, YouTube, iMovie and Adobe Illustrator. It took approximately 3weeks to complete. There were 3 contributing members in the group: Elizabeth McCreight, Anne Powers and myself. This project was designed to appeal to the general public.

The design elements include several facets of color psychology and typography aimed at retaining the users attention while they work through the exercises.
