An interactive consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) multimedia prototype developed to assist special education teachers in a remedial reading program at a local elementary school. This eLearning course uses drag and drop options to assist the students with decoding patterns using vowels and consonants to divide words into syllables in order to sound out the word.
This project was created using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Illustrator. It took approximately 1 week to complete.This project was designed with colors and sounds to captivate the learners who often are challenged with attention problems. The target audience was special education teachers and school children aged 4 – 6.
The design elements include several facets of color psychology and typography aimed at retaining the users attention while they work through the exercises.
